What is Denture Over Implant?

Regular dentures rest on the gums while an implant supported denture are attached and supported by implants. The implants will act as a root replacement, giving the dentures improved stabilty and a feeling close to that of natural teeth.

Is it better than removable traditional dentures?

There are some advantages and disadvantages with denture over implants.  With implants, mouth functions like chewing will feel more natural, as the denture is locked in place preventing denture movement or slippage. It also minimizes sore spots in the gum asthe dentures rest on the implants instead of the oral tissues.. Implats are more expensive though, and do take longer to be fitted than regular dentures.
