Reline, Rebase and Repair at North Shore Denture Clinic

Removable Partial Dentures | North Shore Denture Clinic

What is Denture Reline?

From the day you have your natural teeth extracted, the bony bridges that support your denture are constantly and gradually changing (shrinking). This causes the denture to be ill-fitted over time.

Denture relining means using a hard or soft resin to line the surface of the plate. The denturist will take an impression of your oral tissues using the relining material that will be placed in the surface of your denture. This will result in a more accurate fit in the patient's mouth, much like a brand new denture.

What is Denture Rebase?

Like relining, Rebase is done to make sure the denture is supported and fitted properly. The pink-acrylic material in your denture is called a base. Denture Rebase is the process of replacing the entire denture base material on an existing prosthesis. The existing teeth will remain in place.

What is Denture Repair?

Repairs return damaged dentures (cracks or fractures) close to its original form. We provide same day denture repair procedures here at North Shore Denture Clinic. Contact us or visit our clinic if you have issues with your denture.
