When do I need Partial Dentures?

North Shore Denture Clinic will provide you a free assessment to determine what kind of denture is suitable based on your current needs. Usually when only a few teeth in a row are missing, a Removable Partial Denture will be recommended by our denturist. For patients missing most or all of their teeth along the dental arch, Full Dentures may be the right solution.

What does it it feel like wearing Removable Partial Dentures?

At first, wearing replacement teeth might feel awkward or inconvenient. This is common, and patients becomes accustomed to wearing it after a while. Removing and inserting the partial denture may also take some practice. The Partial Denture should fit into place with relative ease. If the denture puts too much pressure on a particular spot, it could cause that area to become sore. Your denturist will adjust the partial denture to fit comfortably.
